The Quartet are highly experienced as studio session strings and in recording work.
Due to our session strings experience and professional standard we can work with you in the studio to adapt our sound and create effects to fit your vision. Not all classical string players are as versatile in the studio and really interested in getting involved in the creative process. A whole new world of sounds and effects is opened up when acoustic instruments are recorded live rather than the electronic option. One is also working with a team of people who wish to bring to life your music and add something really special.

Stage:
As well as working as session strings we have performed live on stage for Jimmy Page & Robert Plant at the Sheffield Arena and OVO Hydro, Glasgow (previously the SSEC) as part of a 20 piece string orchestra. Members of The Quartet have also performed with artists such as Alfie Boe, Katherine Jenkins, Michael Buble & Belle and Sebastian. Recent stage engagements include performing as part of the orchestra for Planet Earth 2 Live at the OVO Hydro in Glasgow.
As well as playing as a small string group we can also augment to a string orchestra or indeed any combination of instruments that you require.
